Halloween is such a fun time of year but it can also be a time filled with anxiety for parents. If you have a child that cannot have sugar for mental health reasons, or they cannot have gluten, peanuts, or soy then Halloween is very stressful. Of course, you don't want your child to miss out, but you also need to keep them safe!
I have started giving out allergy-free goodies for Halloween so parents don't have to worry when their kiddos ring my doorbell. I like to give out Unicorn Poo 💩 which is rainbow vegan marshmallows. They are made from plant gelatin and they come in individual bags with unicorns on them. Who wouldn't like those!
I also like to give out natural lollipops that don't have sugar chemicals in them. Instead, they have organic cane sugar in them and organic brown rice syrup. They are also small so kids aren't getting a huge dose of sugar. They are vegan and they are kosher! The last thing I love to have available for kids is popcorn! 🍿 There is a naked flavor, which is salt and pepper, a kettle corn flavor, and a buttered one for kids who don't worry about dairy. All of the popcorn comes in individual bags and they are labeled.
If you want to give out allergy-free candy, but you aren't sure where to look then I recommend checking out this list https://www.spokin.com/candy-guide/list-of-food-allergy-friendly-halloween-candy
It doesn't include as many vegan options, but it does show you what your kiddos can eat!
