Cinnamon French Toast

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cups of vanilla unsweetened almond milk

  • 3 tbsp of ground flaxseed

  • 2 tbsp of brown sugar (optional if you don't like your toast too sweet)

  • 2 ripe bananas

  • 2 tbsp of cinnamon

  • 1 tsp of vanilla

  • 6 slices of thin sprouted whole wheat bread or 3 thick slices of whole wheat bread

  • 1 tbsp of vegan butter

  • 2 tbsp of peanut butter

  • maple syrup

In a bowl mash up one banana and then add in the milk, cinnamon, sugar, flaxseed, and vanilla. Combine until they make a liquid batter. On a griddle or pan melt the vegan butter. You want the heat at a medium. Dip the bread into the batter and then cook on the pan. I did about 2-3 minutes on each side.  Once you have cooked up all the bread and batter top with peanut butter, sliced bananas, extra cinnamon (if you like), and maple syrup
