Make Your Own Juice

I usually don't recommend for anyone to drink store bought juice, but if you want to make your own I think that is an excellent idea. I've started out simple with cranberry and orange juice. There are so many benefits to drinking homemade juice without any of the additives. The juices are nutrient dense and provide plenty of vitamins and minerals. Juices are also anti-inflammatory and cancer fighters.


Orange juice in particular can help with blood flow and reduce the risk of stroke and high blood pressure. Orange juice is also high in potassium and fiber. The fiber in oranges can help lower cholesterol, maintain a healthy weight, and control blood sugar. 


Cranberry juice is jam packed with health benefits. It is high in anti-oxidants and phenolic phytonutrients. Antioxidants and phenolic phytonutrients protect cells from aging and can protect arteries from gaining plaque- one of the leading causes of Alzheimer's. Cranberry juice has also been shown to fight certain types of cancers, including blood cancers. It also helps with boosting the immune system and lowering blood pressure. 


It's amazing that just a cup of fresh fruit blended with some water can really make a difference in your health and the function of your organs. Eating nutrient dense foods (or drinking them) aids in the prevention of future diseases and even cancer.
