Vegan Beer Battered Cauliflower

I loved the buffalo cauliflower wings I made, but sometimes a little beer battered cauliflower is what you need! A little less sauce but still a ton of flavor!


  • 1 head of cauliflower

  • 1 beer- I use a light beer but it is up to you on preference and how strong you want that beer flavor

  • 1 cup of flour

  • 1 tbsp of garlic

  • 1 tbsp of thyme

  • Salt and Pepper

  • 1/3 cup of olive oil

Chop of the cauliflower into small to medium pieces. In a bowl pour in 1 cup of flour and 3/4 of the beer- feel free to drink the rest while you are cooking! I add in the garlic, thyme, and salt and pepper. The measure of salt and pepper is up to you and how much you desire. Heat up 1/3 cup of olive oil in a pan on medium-high. Dunk the cauliflower into the batter and make sure it is completely covered. Then put the cauliflower in the olive oil. Cook on all sides for about 1 minute. Pull them and serve them with ranch or blue cheese. I recommend "follow your heart" vegan ranch and blue cheese!
