Vegan Calzones


Calzones are the perfect appetizer or even a meal. These are delicious with some vegan (or regular) ranch and marinara sauce. You can make these in under 30 minutes. I did a few mixes of ingredients: 

Garlic, mushroom, and smoky gouda vegan cheese Mushroom, sundried tomato, and vegan ricotta Red onion, red bell pepper, black olives, and vegan cheddar cheese Grape tomato, basil, and gouda vegan cheese

Ingredients:

  • Pizza dough

  • Diced mushrooms

  • Diced red onion

  • Basil leaves

  • Black olives

  • Grape tomatoes

  • Red Bell pepper

  • Vegan cheese: cheddar, gouda, and ricotta

  • Vegan butter

Set the oven to 450 degrees and roll out the pizza dough on a cutting board. Grab a handful of dough and spread it out. Fill the center of the dough with your favorite ingredients. Roll the dough up like a burrito. 


Put parchment paper on a cookie sheet and lay out the calzones. Melt the vegan butter and brush it over them. Put in the oven for 12 minutes.


Eat with marinara sauce or ranch.
