Vegan Falafel


  • Can of chickpeas (garbanzo beans)

  • Parsley

  • Flour

  • Cardamom

  • Coriander

  • Salt and pepper

  • Minced garlic

  • Olive oil

In a food processor mix two cans of chickpeas, two tbsp of parsley, one tbsp coriander, two tsp of cardamom, two tbsp of minced garlic, four tbsp of flour, and a little bit of salt and pepper. Blend all ingredients until the mixture becomes a paste.  Put the mix in the fridge for an hour or so. Heat a skillet with olive oil Ball the mix in your hand and then flatten it. Place the flattened mix into the skillet and cook for one to two minutes on each side.  Serve the falafel with sliced cucumber over hummus or in a pita!
